The principle objectives of the Canterbury / Westland Racing Owners Association are:
Ensure the racing clubs view stake money as a spending priority.
Put forward the case for keeping down the cost of racing a horse.
A group to effectively represent owners’ interest and concerns in the racing industry
Provide friendly and comfortable surroundings for members to enjoy racing primarily at Riccarton Park but on other courses as well
Respond quickly and in a professional manner to any issue which is likely to affect racehorse owners.
Develop an association that is both financially and numerically strong.
